Best chocolate point bicolor Ragdoll of the year 2011

Concerning their colour, Jelli and his brother Tobie turned out to be a huge surprise. We had not expected that their mom carries chocolate. In the mean time a DNA test has confirmed that both Calaquendi Dolls Annemette and her dad RW SGC Ragmagic You Ought 2B In Pictures carry chocolate.

Jelli is a chocolate point bicolor Ragdoll male with very loud almost instant purring engine. Genetically he's a true bicolor. On his moms side of the pedigree he already is 4 th generation Calaquendi Dolls.
Jelli is a male who has not yet reached his adult size. At the age of 1 year and 4 months he almost reachted 7 kgs in weight. That promises for when he will be 3 to 4 years old ! Sweet Jelli still lacks 2 finales for his TICA Grand Champion title. We feel words are not enough to describe this fantastic male, are very proud of him and extremely happy to be able to have him with us for a few litters.

We look very much forward to his first Calaquendi Dolls descendants and to work with him on continuing to improve type and size for the chocolates/lilacs.

For Jelli we thank several people and catteries ; Claudia and her neighbour Marie-Louise for lovingly raising and hugging of Jelli and his littermates and also Ilona and Gábor from cattery Flufyluf because they made a huge exception by allowing Annemette to visit with their wonderfull and gorgeous Zay (QGC Ragmeister Zayan Saaqib Of Flufyluf) and Amy Stadter from cattery Ragmagic who helped both Ilona and us to keep Jelli as a possible future stud and on who'se name Jelli is registered.

Wookie is a chocolate mackerel tabby mitted (with white blaze and a darker coloured nostril on one side) Ragdoll male. He carries cinnamon. Most of the non pointed chocolates possess a yellow/golden eyecolour. Wookie has a lovely vibrant green eyecolour.

For years we have dreamt about a beautifull chocolate non pointed Ragdoll. Out of all combinations friends and we ourselves have made, Wookie is the second born and the first born non pointed chocolate Ragdoll kitten we could keep ourselves. Anja and Ivan Beeckmans from Amazing Dolls had the first born non pointed chocolate Ragdoll in Belgium.
Even though there's still work on improving type, he has several very valuable sides (one of them being his very gentle sweet character) who made us decide to keep him. He is a true gourmand, loves good njammie food and is very heavy build.

Wether Wookie will ever have offspring, only time will tell. Before allowing him to become a daddy we intend to put him on suprelorin. Hopefully then by the time he will show interest in siring kittens, we will have a not to closely related cinnamon carrying (2nd, 3rd or 4rd generation SBT) Ragdoll female for him to have a chance for our first cinnamon and fawn Ragdoll kittens.

The cinnamon gen in Wookie's lines is coming from two catteries in Texas who outcrossed with the Somali and Abessinian. One of them bred with these breeds before starting to breed with Ragdolls. Wookie's grandmom is first generation SBT and Wookie himself is third generation SBT.

It may take us several years before finally having our first cinnamon and fawn Ragdoll kittens.

Calaquendi Dolls Gingers Rinjin

On the photo above Rinjin is listed together with Wookie (Calaquendi Dolls My Beautiful Love).

During all the years, we had a chance for red non pointed male kittens, Rinjin is only our second born red non pointed Ragdoll male. We simply could not resist keeping Rinjin, even if it would only be for one or two litters.

Rinjin has been neutered in january 2012 and has moved to his hopefully forever home where he will enjoy companionship from 2 spayed Ragdoll females.

Rinjin is a red non pointed son from Pocahontas Odakota Of Calaquendi and Calaquendi Dolls Ginger Moon. His mom is already 7,5 jaar old and still showed a lovely thin hearthwall at her last ultrasound. His dad Odakota also shows a lovely thin hearthwall who reminds me very much of Orelius ultrasounds as a young kitten.
Rinjin has a very heavy boning and an almost instant purring engine.
In his 5th generation he still has the Petil-Lu lines from Lulu Rowley and his 6de generation Blossom-Time Lass, Lad en Bananas.

Ewok is a very strong build seal point male with beautifull blue eyecolour, supersoft coattexture and an amazing sweet character. The photo's above, made by Harry Kuipers from Uw kat op de foto , already shows a little bit of his very sweet and gentle character and also why we could not resist the offer of Amy and Ralph to adopt Ewok.

Ewok is now enjoying life as a spoiled pet together with Ophelia.
